I am writing to formally introduce Elevated Futures Education (EFE) as a premier independent specialist setting. We are now actively accepting formal consultations under Section 39 of the Children and Families Act 2014 for learners in Key Stage 3 and our tailored Post-16 Transition Cohort for the upcoming academic intake.

Our setting has been established to deliver a high-quality, neuro-affirming solution for learners who have experienced significant educational breakdown, chronic school refusal, or placement trauma within mainstream settings. At Elevated Futures Education, we move beyond traditional “behaviour containment” and exclusionary discipline models. Instead, we have structured our entire educational and therapeutic architecture around physiological safety, cognitive autonomy, and interest-led academic progression.

We are delighted to share that our setting has recently concluded a highly successful Ofsted Readiness Inspection. The resulting report highlights our exceptionally robust safeguarding framework, our innovative sensory-informed design, and our clinical readiness to meet complex special educational needs. Following this success, we have been officially registered under Unique Reference Number (URN): 152325, with our Confirmation of Independent School status and DfE number currently in the final stages of administrative processing.

Our curriculum is tailored specifically to bridge the gap between high cognitive potential and executive functioning challenges. We deliver our specialist provision across two distinct, highly focused streams:

Every placement at Elevated Futures Education is supported by our on-site, multidisciplinary team. We integrate Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT), occupational sensory integration, and 1:1 specialist academic coaching directly into the learner’s timetable. Our settings utilize dedicated, acoustically dampened Safe Base workstations to eliminate visual and auditory sensory overload, ensuring that every learner has immediate access to a predictable, low-arousal environment.

As a small, highly specialized independent provider, we maintain a low-arousal setting with a high staff-to-student ratio. To ensure the safety and academic progression of our cohorts, we operate on a fee structure funded entirely through Local Authority High Needs Top-Up funding, as itemised in our bespoke Costed Provision Maps.
